We have proudly operated in Hunterdon County for more than 50 years.
We are a small, 20-bed residential healthcare home where our size allows us to provide individualized attention in a warm, home-like environment. We provide care for older adults who benefit from support with activities of daily living, including those who use canes, walkers, or other ambulatory assistive devices, as well as those experiencing memory loss and cognitive changes. We proudly welcome veterans and provide complimentary assistance with applying for VA benefits. We are also happy to help families explore other community resources.
Our goal is to enrich our residents' lives through companionship, laughter, and a true sense of belonging. We consider every resident an extension of our family, and many have chosen to make Newton's Guest Home their home for decades, with some living here for more than 20 years. We encourage our residents to become active members of our community and to truly make this their home.
Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, our home is conveniently located near Clinton, Flemington, Hackettstown, and Phillipsburg, providing easy access to shopping, medical appointments, and other essential services.
Our Story
Our family's journey began with Judy Newton's vision of creating a home where no older adult would ever be left without a place to belong. In 1973, she and her husband, Clint Newton, brought that vision to life by founding Newton's Guest Home together.
What began as Judy’s dream became a reality through the unwavering dedication, shared purpose, and tireless work that she and Clint invested side by side. Each brought unique strengths, but they shared the same commitment to treating every older adult with dignity, compassion, and respect. Through every challenge and every success, they stood beside one another, building not just a business, but a home.
More than fifty years later, their legacy continues to inspire every generation of the Newton family and remains at the heart of everything we do.
In 1968, Judith Newton wrote this letter to the editor expressing her belief that older adults deserved the comfort and companionship of a family home. Five years later, she and Clint Newton transformed that vision into Newton's Guest Home.
